He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Human Anatomy from Trenton State College (now TCNJ), and went on to graduate with honors from Life University in Marietta, GA with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During his time there, he led as President of the Activator Chiropractic Technique Club, where he mentored fellow students in advanced instrument-based chiropractic methods.

In 2010, Dr. Drew began offering the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Method in his practice. Since then, he has played a key role in helping members of his community lose over 100,000 pounds of fat through personalized coaching and nutritional guidance. Dr. Drew continues to inspire and support his patients on their paths to better health—without medication, and with a deep respect for the body’s natural ability to heal.

In The Beginning

How It All Started

I was just a kid when my uncle, a chiropractor, would visit our house. My brother and I had no idea what he was doing—one minute, we were watching TV, and the next, he had us laid out on the couch, twisting and pressing on our spines.

CRACK!

My eyes would go wide. What just happened? He’d just grin and say, “You’ll thank me later.”At the time, I didn’t think much of it. It felt good. But what did it actually do?

That question didn’t matter much then. What did matter was that every spring, like clockwork, my brother and I turned into walking disasters. Our eyes would swell shut, our noses would run nonstop, and we’d sneeze so violently it felt like our skulls were rattling. We were trying to learn golf at the time, but every time we hit the course, we were a mess—hacking, sneezing, rubbing our eyes until they burned. It was miserable.

My uncle would shake his head. “I can help with that,” he said.

I didn’t believe him. How could cracking my back have anything to do with allergies?

That wasn’t what doctors did. Doctors gave you pills, nasal sprays, and shots. They told you it was something you had to live with.

So I suffered. Year after year, spring after spring. I’d be outside for ten minutes before I had to retreat inside, defeated. It wasn’t fair. I wanted to play football, baseball, golf—I wanted to breathe. But my body had other plans.

Then something weird happened. I started working for my uncle at the front desk of his practice. Twice, sometimes three times a week, I’d hop on the table, and he’d adjust me. I didn’t think much of it—it was just part of the routine.

Until one morning, I woke up and everything was… quiet.

No puffy eyes. No stuffy nose. No sneezing.

I sat up slowly, waiting for the familiar itch to creep into my sinuses, for my body to betray me like it always did. But nothing happened. I was fine.

I went outside, stood in the sun, took a deep breath, and—nothing. No allergic explosion. No burning throat. Just air.

That was the moment I realized… my allergies were gone. No pills. No shots. Just chiropractic adjustments. It was the first time in my life that my body wasn’t working against me. And it changed everything. But my uncle wasn’t done shaking up everything I thought I knew about health. “Stop drinking cow’s milk,” he told me one day.

I laughed. “What are you talking about? Milk is good for you. Everyone says so."

"Think about it,” he said. “The only milk you were ever meant to drink was your mother’s. And you’re way too old for that.”

I couldn’t argue with that. So I stopped drinking milk that day. And once again… my body changed. My digestion improved, my energy skyrocketed, and I felt better—better than I ever had.

That was when I started paying attention.

Before working for my uncle, I had never even heard of chiropractic care. But after watching patient after patient walk into his office—some with back pain, others with problems that seemed completely unrelated—and then watching them walk out looking like brand-new people, I couldn’t deny it anymore.

This wasn’t just some alternative treatment. It was the missing piece. Most people don’t know how good their bodies are supposed to feel. They spend years masking symptoms, chasing temporary relief, believing pain and dysfunction are just part of life. I knew I wanted to change that. In chiropractic school, we were taught that the word “doctor” means “teacher.” But most doctors I had ever met weren’t teaching anything. They were handing out prescriptions, scheduling surgeries, putting Band-Aids on bullet wounds.

I wanted to do something different. After I graduated chiropractic school, and opened my first practice I met Betty. She had been suffering from excruciating migraines for five years.

She had tried everything—neurologists, acupuncture, epidural shots. Nothing worked.

She walked into my office with the kind of exhaustion that only comes from years of fighting a losing battle. Her pain was relentless. I adjusted her upper cervical spine, had her rest for twenty minutes, and sent her home. I held my breath, hoping I had done something to help her.

That night, my phone rang. I picked up. On the other end of the line, I heard crying. My stomach dropped. Oh no. I screwed up. Then, between sobs, she said something I’ll never forget. “For the first time in five years… my migraine is gone.” I hung up the phone, stunned.

That was the moment I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt—I had made the right choice.

Then there was the 16-year-old boy who walked into my office, dragged in by his mother. He barely spoke, just nodded when I asked if he wanted to do the program. He was overweight, a gamer, and completely disengaged.

I wasn’t sure if he’d stick with it. But week after week, he kept coming back. Four pounds lost. Five pounds. Six. No emotion, no complaints. Just results.

Seven months later, he had lost 130 pounds. I showed him his before-and-after photos and said, “You have to smile, man. You just did something incredible.” His doctor ran bloodwork and told him, “Whatever you’re doing, keep doing it. Your blood sugar numbers are perfect.”

Then there was Joey. He was a hunter and a real man’s man.

But one day, he fell out of a  tree stand slamming into the ground below. His friends carried him into my office because he couldn’t walk. After a careful examination, I discovered that his tailbone was slightly twisted, which was causing him severe pain. After a small adjustment and therapy, I sent him home to rest.

The next day, the door to my office swung open. Joey walked in—on his own. He was still limping, but the look in his eyes told me everything I needed to know.

Six treatments later, he was back to normal. Back to the same Joey I’d always known. That’s what chiropractic is about. It’s not about cracking backs. It’s not about temporary relief. It’s about giving people their lives back.

Most people have been conditioned to believe that medication is the only way. That symptoms are things to be managed, not fixed. That pain is just something you have to live with.

And I’m here to tell you that is wrong.

When your body is working the way it was designed to, it heals itself. Most people don’t even realize they’ve been walking around with a body that’s operating at 50%. But once they experience what it’s like to be at 100%…They say, “I never knew this was possible.”

And that’s why I do this.

Because everyone deserves to know what it feels like to be at their best.
