First Weight-Loss Consultation

Brief Paperwork

Upon entering the office, we have some brief paperwork for you to fill out. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your weight loss goal.

Consultation

Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your weight goals and past experiences in trying to lose weight.

Measurements

In order to determine how long it willl take you to reach your goal,we will take measurements of your body including: pounds, pounds of fat, % fat, % water, Body Mass Index, and tape measurements of belly, hips, thigh, arm, neck, etc.

Time Line

The doctor will then go over your individual timeline that will tell you approximately how long you will be in each phase. This will give you a realistic idea of how long you will be on the program.

Biochemistry of Weight Loss

A description of how the body actually loses weight when on the program is presented and you will fully understand the differences between the ideal protein program and othr weight loss programs. You will be shown what foods actually prevent you from losing weight.

Finances

Finances are discussed and agreed upon of you decide to start the program on the day of your consultation. If you start the diet on the day of your consultation the $30 1st consultation fee goes toward the fee for the rest of your consults.

Phase 1 Protocol and Incidentals

Once you agree to a financial arrangement, you start the diet by learning the "magic" of the program, which is the Phase 1 protocol. We also go over how your body will respond in the next week, and tips and suggestions for your meals. We go over exactly what to do so you will have no questions about your ability to follow the protocol exactly. You will be given a food diary to fill out and bring back with you on the next visit. Finally a "Pre" picture will be taken because you will be 5-10 lbs. lighter by the following week, so we have to remember what you looked like when you started.

There are many protein foods to pick from and we will help you do your "shopping" so you have the best start to your program.

In February of 2010, she implemented The Last Diet after having studied with Dr. Tran Tien. Since that time, she has coached her patients in losing over 100,000 pounds of fat.
